Asrın Rodi PAK
Rodi is an 19 years old Motocross, supermoto and road racer. He begun his career when he was 4,5 years old. He always raced with elders, when he was 5 his competitors were 9-10 years old. Where he raced in 250 cc at the age 12 his competitors were 15-21 years old. But he was in front of all. He also makes the best time on the tracks he races .He currently holds all 250cc records for supermoto and motocross tracks ( for supermoto also european track records)
Rodi has 10 mx and supermoto championship titles.
Rodi’s father is an electronics engineer and the author of A2teker magazine. His mother Works as a photographer for A2teker(Turkish magazine) and turkish motorcycle federation .
Rodi is the first child to make shows at the exhibitions and festivals. He was the only kid who jumps night of the jumps 25meters…He has been the off-road and supermoto test pilot for some magazines because of his very true and objective comments.
Since 2012 he is the champion for MX-250 motocross and 250cc supermoto . In the UEM european championship S3 -250cc class he became champion and FIM has given him nickname “serial winner”.
In 2016, Kenan Sofuoglu convinced him to race in supersport and started training and practices. He raced in European Junior Cup and Alpe Adria SST600. Finished in the first ten of junior cup and first 3 in AAR junior stock600.
Redbull has been supporting Rodi as a product athlete since 2007.
Rodi lives in Usak/Turkey which has a very nice supermoto and mx track, he practices at least 3 days a week, beside cycling 40 km’s Daily.
2017 is a new career year with Chicho Lorenzo, he is invited to race in the youth rider cup R3 Yamaha mono brand championship in Spain. He had first trainings with Chicho in Mallorca/Spain. He completed all races with a training bike in the first 3.
He attended World SSp300 with wildcard for 2 races with Puccetti Kawasaki with Kenan Sofuoglu.
Rodi’s dream became real and started riding 1000cc in 2018. The first race he attended in Turkish championship brought him 1st place on podium .
With the support of Ducati Turkey(Korlas) he started to ride a Ducati Panigale in Istanbul park. He made very impressive times (always best) with his Ducati. Which lead him to TopSbk team who watched him in Istanbul Park and opened a new era for Swiss Superbike in Europe. Starting from the first race he finished all 5 races he attended in podium. After first 2 races ( Kawasaki ) finishing 3rd and 2nd, He finished all rest of the races in the 1st position (Yamaha) with best times. He started with a Kawasaki ZX-10R prepared by Puccetti team and switched to Yamaha R1 prepared by YART.
He attended tests in Barcelona on October 2018 with Suzuki/IDM team BCC Heilbonn. With 160 attendees he made the best 3rd time overall, following the BMW factory team.
2019 has been the year for ESBK(Spanish Superbike). Rodi joined Yamaha Stratos team for Spanish SBK, a tough competition with famous names like Scheib, Guarnoni, Ramos, Mayo,Sandi,Ponsson and motoGp test pilots. He always managed to get points on every race.
For the last three races switched to Tack-Kawasaki for better riding experience and getting ready for 2020 and consequently WSBK.
He is well-known as fast learning and economical rider, as explained by the trainers , also very good mechanic and tuning knowledge makes him the best rider for the mechanics.
Currently Rodi is studying mechanical Engineering in Usak University.
